oooh!

I stumbled across these treasures today while visiting a blog I enjoy (Debutante Clothing) and instantly fell in love. Bouquets created entirely out of vintage brooches!!

I think these are such a fabulous idea! I am tempted to start shopping for brooches just so I can get enough together for when I meet the man of my dreams and we decide to tie the knot! I bet it would end up being quite a heavy bouquet, but unique factor outweights the practicality factor for me. And it will last forever too, or until you decide to dismantle it to wear the jewels.

    Perhaps this is something we should be adding to the wedding binder? I think it is a fabulous idea and will keep an eye out for anything I can find in NZ. As I'll be back in Napier I'll look around there too.
