Ok - it's been a long while since I've posted, and I'd like to back into the game. I've tried to limit my computer time these past months and my blog has suffered. But now I have a new toy/weapon: an iPhone! This means I don't need to be on the computer to post. I can post on my lunch break, while I'm on the bus, or lazing in bed like I'm doing right now.
After a long absence from the gym, today will be my second class in a week (be proud of the steps you're making, even when they are small). It's a kettlebell class bases on the Russian kettlebell and doing some simple movements such as swinging it, and clean & jerks. In Victoria, this happens at BDHQ down on LoJo. Today is their 3rd birthday so all classes are FREE! Check em out at www.BDHQ.ca
Another big role I'm stepping into is the role of maid of honor for my dear friend Meag. The big day is in September so planning is well underway. Tonight we are off to an event called Inn Love (www.innlove.ca). It's all about weddings and it's happening at the Laurel Point Inn. I managed to win free tix through Bella Boudoir (www.Bellaboudoir.com), that fabulous ladies with whom I did the photoshoot my profile pic is from. I'm most excited for the company called Frocks who are over from Vancouver. They specialize in bridesmaid dresses that you will wear again - what a concept! I'll let you guys know if I find my dress tonight. :)

ReplyDeleteSadly no... But I will be hitting up the stores in the next couple of weeks to see what I can find. Still haunt decided if I want to go fairly formal with the dress (as one of the other bridesmaids has) or get something a little more fun.
